Quick-change cartridge to boost lawn density and airflow

Maintain a healthy lawn with our popular Verticutter cartridge, compatible with Liberty 43 and Kensington 17H mowers. Its thin, closely spaced blades efficiently lift lateral growth, remove moss, and pick up flat-lying grasses. Use it every two weeks to control thatch and lateral lying grasses. Start at setting four and gradually lower for optimal results. This cartridge can be used with the following mowers:

Benefit: Thin, closely spaced blades lift lateral growth, remove moss, and promote tillering and stolon formation.
Outcome: Encourages finer, thicker turf and an upright grass structure for a more professional, even lawn finish.

Benefit: Operates just above the thatch layer to remove dead grass and prevent buildup without damaging the soil.

The aims of verticutting

  • To prune the grasses to improve tillering and stolon formation. This increases turf density
  • To control thatch. The verticut cartridge blades are designed to be used above the thatch layer to remove dead and dying grass plants that will ultimately contribute to the thatch layer.
  • To produce an upright grass prior to mowing to give a cleaner more consistent cut.
  • As a method of controlling weeds and weed grasses without using harmful chemicals
  • Verticutting will also help remove annual meadow grass seed heads and promote finer grasses, such as bent and fescue.

As soon as we receive your order we automatically check to confirm that your order is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on back-order or unavailable we will void the pre-authorisation and reach out to you via e-mail to see if alternate arrangements can be made.  

If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business
days) we will process the charges and get to work preparing your order for shipment.

Damages:
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery or do not agree to accept the delivery.

If you do accept delivery you are required to immediately take photos using your smart phone or camera of the damaged packaging or products inside the packaging.
